I’ve been up since 7 am on Monday morning (with the exception of about 30 minutes sometime in the middle of the night), but I finished my project, turned it in, and now I’m officially finished with my first semester of grad school. I don’t think I could be more relieved if I tried. There is really no way I would have made it at all if not for God helping me to get out of bed every day. It’s been a long, hard semester, but it hasn’t been without it’s blessings, and I must always remember that. And now I can put it behind me, accept my B’s if they come (*cringe*), and read for fun until January 11! Except that I also need to start tackling the MA comp. reading list. It’s over 7 pages worth of books, and I’ve read 2 of them. (Okay, so that’s a lie. I think I’ve read 5.) First on the list: Uncle Tom’s Cabin. I’ve been meaning to read it for about a decade now, and it’s on the reading list, so I’m killing two birds with one stone (I wish there were a better way to convey that idea without having to resort to using a cliche, but there you have it.)
Well kids, the keys on the keyboard are starting to run together, so I think it’s about time I got some sleep. (And some food.) Look for more lucid posts in the days ahead. Ah, the joys of Christmas break…
